Shirley Carnt (Deterding)  is a truly international artist who, from the 1960s, has exhibited worldwide, from Cairo and Paris to regular shows in Central London as well as her long-standing annual exhibitions in her native Norfolk, England.

Shirley now lives and works from her studio and cottage on the edge of the marsh at Thornham, where uninterrupted views of the sea and marsh and the ever changing sky continue to give inspiration.

Her work can now be viewed in her Studio Gallery by appointment or during ‘Open Studios’ from 21st May to 5th June 2011; opening times:10am til 4pm.
