Shirley
Carnt (Deterding) is a truly international artist
who, from the 1960s, has been exhibiting worldwide, from Cairo
and Paris to regular shows in Central London as well as her
long-standing annual exhibitions in her native Norfolk, England.
Shirley lives and works from her studio and cottage on the edge of the marsh at Thornham,
where uninterrupted views of the sea and marsh and the ever
changing sky continue to give inspiration.
